Pat Tenney's father suffered a stroke. Doris Laybourne's son sustained a traumatic brain injury due to a horse accident.
After hospitalization, these individuals returned to their community. Unfortunately they had lost many skills and abilities, and couldn't do the things they had done previously. Whole families were affected. They discovered there was a real lack of support for brain injured individuals and their families in the Lloydminster community.
